School Principal Message “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. Nelson Mandela The baton of leadership of K.V.Daporijo was entrusted on my shoulders on August 22,2022. I delve upon a beautiful vision for this Vidyalaya - a vision not only to scale the present heights of achievements of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan but also to add to the texture and quality of it. In the fast pace of today’s world, when technology is being upgraded every moment, the biggest challenge our youngsters face is to keep a cool head while marching ahead in full steam. Being an integral part of the largest democracy in the world, our responsibility is to sensitise every young citizen with the importance of knowledge through education for a better nation building, as also to keep traditions of democracy and equality intact. In order to bring out the best in children and to develop their originality of thought and inherent creativity, we need to cater to their developmental needs. Holistic approach of education stimulate innovation among students by inspiring fresh ideas with different perceptiveness, creative thinking and strong conviction to achieve true success. Every child is unique. It needs introspection on the part of a child, and recognition on the part of his/her mentor to recognize this uniqueness. A motivated teacher infuses a motivated mind. My ardent effort would be to build around me highly kindled faculty ever enthused to lead the young minds in the right direction. Frequent sessions with children to resolve their problems, will be my priority. It is my strong belief that with motivation evolves a sense of inspiration, which fructifies a well blossomed whole. For the best growth of the Vidyalaya I would cherish, any valuable input from any quarter. In order to let our students lead the learning, and to make them global citizens, embedding of 21st Century Skills in the class room in inevitable. The Vidyalaya holds the responsibility of equipping these skills amongst students, as the need of the hour demands, a repertoire of knowledge and skills that are more diverse, complex, and integrated than for any previous generation. The Vidyalaya is committed towards developing all the aspects of a child’s personality that will gradually metamorphose into an institution to be reckoned with!! Every effort to make this Vidyalaya reach its zenith would be my goal. Warm regards K. Sainath Principal(I/c) “The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create men who are capable of doing new things.“-Jean Piaget
