About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya Daporijo was established on 6th August 2019 under KV Tinsukia region. Administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. KV Daporijo imparts education in a unique and friendly way that encourages innovation, creativity and critical thinking in children. With a team of dynamic, efficient and dedicated staff, students explore new challenges and new experiences academically and personally and develop skills in a supportive learning environment.

In the session 2024-25, the school is being run only for students from Class-I to Class-X.

The Vidyalaya is currently located in temporary accommodation provided by the sponsoring agency at Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district. It is about 277 km east of Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. The school campus is in the lap of nature, surrounded by the eastern extension of the Himalayas on one side and the Subansiri River on the other. This creates a serene school campus. Our school provides education in a safe, friendly and unique style that encourages innovative, creative, independent thinking of children as well as develops them academically, physically and personally.

Since its inception, the school has been striving towards providing quality education to its students.
